The Logo of China Brands Day Was Officially Published

    Shanghai, March 21, China News Service—The logo of China Brands Day was officially unveiled on March 21. The whole logo adopts the Chinese character “” in the form of seal script, which looks like a Chinese seal taking the shape of a round ding standing upon three legs. It is said that the logo has already been registered and recorded as the official logo.  

In April 2017, the State Council approved China Brands Day to be held on May 10 each year. In order to establish the image for China Brands Day and increase the awareness of China Brands Day, the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments call on the whole society to contribute to the design of the logo for China Brands Day. Many professional design institutions and designers at home and abroad showed great passion for it and nearly 500 designs were collected.

 The finally selected China Brands Day logo carries profound connotation. As was introduced by the staff of the National Development and Reform Commission, the character “” embodies the core concept “brand” of China Brands Day, marking a new era for brand development. In addition, it also bears such meanings as “rank, quality and taste”, indicating that brands lead the economy onto a high-quality development track.

“Ding” bears witness to Chinese civilization. It is valuable state vessel and ceremonial vessel, signifying status. Making ding a symbol factor for China Brands Day logo shows that brand development is a policy to boost the country, a path to enrich the country and a measure to strengthen the country. It can show that Chinese brands enjoy good reputation, that Chinese brands keep their promise, and that Chinese brands is embarking on a flourishing journey.

   “Seal” represents China’s traditional culture and serves as proof of barter, mark of reputation, and symbol of power. Making seal a symbol factor for China Brands Day logo shows that Chinese brands value honesty and promise, demonstrating the national willingness for Chinese brand development.

Along with the unveiling of the China Brands Day logo, the series event for the first China Brands Day also enters into a 50-day countdown. The 2018 China Brands Day will be held at Shanghai Exhibition Center on May 10, including the first Exposition on China Indigenous Brand and the International Forum on China Brand Development.    

 It is learned that the International Forum on China Brand Development will invite about a thousand guests from home and abroad. Centering on the theme of “Chinese Brands for the World to Share”, the guests will have exchanges on topic like accelerating Chinese brand development in the new era, striving for all-round win-win cooperation.
